As a church planter and pastor for eight years, Ericka has had the opportunity to walk alongside others as a student of their experiences. Over the years, God has been continually expanding her vision of his heart for Jesus-centered community and relationships, which led her to Allentown, Pennsylvania in the Spring of 2019 to found the Holy District.
Ericka’s passion and pastoral focus is providing Jesus-looking spiritual nurture and communal leadership in her neighborhood through peacemaking, partnership and service. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Greenville University, Ericka went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Theology with an emphasis in Biblical Languages from Fuller Theological Seminary, where she graduated in Spring of 2018.
She currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Multnomah University, but is sure to find time for some of her favorite activities with friends and family. If she isn’t on a walk with her husband, Blake, and their two dogs, Sam and Spock, you can almost certainly find her relaxing with a good book. Ericka is no stranger to travelling, and has so far visited Egypt, Israel-Palestine, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria. She hopes to visit many more countries to experience and learn from their history and culture in the years to come!
